Mission: 
The Manager will be a key member of the Loyalty team.  This position will be responsible for identifying and understanding the business challenges and opportunities that the Marketing, Digital Channel, Loyalty departments face, along with other business units at Radisson Hotel Group. The manager will conduct assessment and deep-dive analysis of the business and operational challenges by applying advanced statistical and analytical techniques focusing on Loyalty member base & program management. This manager will be the expert in this space and serve as the ambassador for advanced statistical analysis techniques and their application to the business.

Key roles and responsibilities:

Project management:  

  • Serve as the analytics and statistical consultant/lead within the Loyalty team and act on regression, forecasting and statistical analytics requiring innovative research, mathematical calculations and technical skills. 

  • Lead project in the evaluation of current business processes and identification of current weaknesses or inefficiencies. 

  • Be the center of expertise for loyalty campaigns & promotion reporting. 

  • Integrate web and channels analytics into customer analytics 



Problem solving: 

  • Fulfill position as guest intelligence and CRM specialist by using analytical problem-solving techniques to resolve issues and questions related to members. 

  • Be the source of unbiased data-supported insights to the organization on Loyalty program performance. 

  • Accurately identify and assess problems by asking the right questions of the right people. 


Conduct risk assessment and offer options when possible to stakeholders. 

Develop customized and predictive models to enhance business processes incorporating business and operational goals, as well as market conditions. 

Test & measurement: 

  • Develop new metrics and indicators to help business units in improving performance and efficiencies. 

  • Participate in the design of new initiatives that require test and measurement before full implementation. 

  • Apply acceptable statistical techniques to ensure tests are properly conducted. 


Interface with senior leadership to understand their data and analytical needs and present the analytical findings and recommendations in all areas of the business 

Educate and empower the customer data and Business Intelligence (BI) team to embrace new methodology for interpreting and analyzing data 

Understand and articulate the complex mathematical and computational learning concepts.  

Data management: 

  • Monitor, assess and recommend on Loyalty program performance, member base evolution and segmentation modeling. 

  • Integrate, monitor and improve external loyalty Datamart. 

  • Interpret data and identify correlations using both univariate and multivariate analysis. 



Job requirements and qualifications: 

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred

- +7 years work experience with statistical methodology and analysis or equivalent experience and education combined

- Competencies & skills:
  • Strong analytics, statistics, and problem-solving skills required 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, most importantly Excel and Power Point 

  • Experience supporting Loyalty/Marketing analytics and customer data required 

  • Expertise with SQL and other statistical languages 

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills 

  • Proactive & entrepreneurial mindset 

  • Proven ability to interact and influence at all levels of an organization 

  • Proven people and project leadership abilities 

  • Demonstrated ability to teach complex analytical and statistical techniques to a wider audience 

  • Proven track record of self-motivation and independent discretion 

  • Strong intellectual curiosity; a willingness to ask questions and learn from others 

  • Digital Analytics skills a plus
