Be part of Shangri-La''s sales team. We currently have an opportunity within our Regional Liaison office – Mumbai. Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts is iconic within the luxury segment and you will be an integral component in developing awareness, relationships and business for the Shangri-La brand.
We’re looking for a driven and determined sales professional, who can help build and promote the Shangri-La brand to Luxury travel agencies located predominantly in Mumbai, but also in Delhi and Bangalore
- Represent the group to the travel industry in a highly professional manner.
- Solicit new and existing FIT accounts and achieve or exceed revenue goals. This will consist of telephone, email solicitations, outside customer meetings, FAM trips/site inspections and written communication.
- In line with the individual quarterly action plan, actively conduct visits (min. 28 / month) to top accounts in the assigned territory / zone (Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore), selling all properties.
- Align Delhi and Bangalore trips, to DOBD India market visits where appropriate, to leverage relationship and business opportunities.
- Ensure that targeted luxury retail agencies promote and sell as many Shangri-La hotels and Resorts as possible.
- Achieve performance objectives as outlined within the department and understand the financial goals of the RSO.
Experiences and skills required:
Minimum 2 years experience in an international hotel in the same capacity.
- Outgoing and people oriented.
- Motivator, self-starter and a team-builder.
- Displays initiative and commitment to professional values.
- Excellent command of English (written and oral)
