About the job

To assist the Director of Revenue Management and the Revenue team in their different tasks in extracting data, creating reports and updating systems and tools related to revenue management.

In addition, the position is responsible to carry out any ad-hoc analysis and preparation of reports.

Major Responsibilities
 Extracts and analyzes data in order to draw viable/actionable business conclusions.
 Provides targeted and timely communication of results, achievements and challenges.
 Provides recommendations to improve effectiveness of revenue analysis processes.
 Prepares weekly Revenue Strategy Meetings packages and meeting minutes.
 Participate on ad-hoc basis in properties’ weekly Revenue Strategy Meetings.
 Ensure that the transients and groups, inventories and rates, are accurately maintained in PMS, MARSHA and external channels, in adherence with Look No Further guidelines.
 Ensure in an efficient and accurate way that all Revenue Management systems and tools are maintained and update to date.
 Ensure that rooms blocked in OPERA, MARSHA and LRP2 forecast are synchronized.
 Monitors competitive set pricing and any changes in market conditions
 Support the Market Director Revenue Strategy to handle the daily, weekly and monthly reports.
 Follow strictly Marriott’s policy of rational pricing in MARSHA as well as in the other systems.
 Develop knowledge in MARSHA, MarRFP, One Yield, EPIC, Marriott Reservations Data Warehouse (MRDW), MRDW Demand Query.
 Develop knowledge of competitive market.
 Develop knowledge in Forecast, Budget and Business Plans.
 Develop knowledge of Sales, Front Desk and Events and how they relate to Revenue
 Perform any other reasonable requests as directed by management.

About you

We are looking for someone who:
 Has an Internship convention signed by his school
 Has a valid working permit or visa to complete the internship in Belgium (we do not provide it)
 Possesses excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
 Has analytical mind and problem-solving skills
 Strong organization skills
 Ability to use standard software applications and hotel systems like Opera Sales & Catering
 Ability to use the basic functions of Excel (data consolidation, pivot table, basic formulas …)
  • Language required: French. English is a plus
