Position Description

This role will have a key role in ensuring we have the analytics tools and tagging strategies in place to support the digital team in measuring the success of our digital platforms, campaigns and customers.  This role will be a key subject matter expert and will collaborate on a day-to-day basis with the analytics, digital, marketing, IT, and third-party vendors.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive the organization’s digital analytics tool and tagging strategy and roadmap

  • Monitor the deployment of all tracking pixels and tags on the platforms, conduct regular audits and optimization to improve data quality, latency, and page performance

  • Evaluate business goals and objectives from stakeholders and use industry best-in-class practices to recommend the best set of digital analytics and tagging tools for Radisson Hotel Group

  • Partner with agency to develop global digital analytics migration plan from current state (multiple tools, tagging frameworks and levels of implementation quality)

  • Track, monitor and manage performance of emerging product portfolio to ensure products are performing to expected performance/quality metrics 

  • Manage web analytics and digital marketing implementation initiatives

  • Responsible for creating technical implementation specifications for Adobe Analytics, GA360 and working with development, CMS and 3rd party teams on the implementation

  • Documentation of all project artefacts such as requirements, project plans, and testing artefacts 

  • Oversee testing and validation; ensure the integrity and accuracy of all online and web analytics data via the continual monitoring and assessment of site and program tags

  • Be the owner of the roadmap as relates to campaign tracking and data accuracy

  • Develop innovative strategies for tracking and tagging processes

  • Work closely with digital, experience, product, IT, content, agency, internal and external stakeholders during on-boarding process to identify scope of work and timely deliverables

  • Define business requirements for RHG’s tagging capabilities, development of global conventions, processes and standards to continuously improve digital operations, user experience and reliability of platforms and apps

  • Maintain and update tagging governance policies, documentations and best practices

  • Develop and update existing and new data layers (UDO) to enhance customer experience across all platforms

  • Proven experience with Tealium or any Tag Management Solutions and Data layers creation and management


Technical Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with tag management tools such as Tealium/ Ensighten/Adobe DTM/ GTM (preferably expert in Tealium and/or certified Tealium user)

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a project manager, including delivering enterprise-scale analytics implementations and web applications (Adobe Analytics/Google Analytics implementation)

  • Familiarity with the following languages and technologies: HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, XML, JSP, Java, WCM, PHP, R, Python, web analytics

  • Experience with testing tools such as Optimizely, VWO or Adobe Test & Target

  • Experience with data, APIs or analytics products

  • Experience with 3rd Party Advertising tools, ecommerce/digital experience including personalization, re-Marketing tools and Data Management Platforms (DMP) activation, native mobile applications (IOS, Android) and deployment



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics Finance or related field required, PM certification a plus

  • Demonstrated track record of driving product development through research, planning, implementation, launch, analysis, and iteration cycles

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with good knowledge of cookies and online targeting

  • Experience with Marketing and/or Ad Tech products a big plus

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify issues, solve them quickly and well and know when to rely on internal resources

  • Ability to manage in an environment of ambiguity with diverse stakeholders

  • Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 

  • Good understanding broader digital marketing ecosystem (AdTech, MarTech)

  • Ability to work autonomously, within team and cross-functional teams

  • Problem solving skills and ability to think outside the box

  • Self-motivated, flexible with the ability to adapt graciously to fast changing market conditions and priorities

  • Keep up to date with the latest development in the online ecosystem
