The Account Executive, Wholesale is responsible for building and implementing strategies with Partners and VCA Management to meet business targets, oversee daily business and ensure that daily business needs are met while ensuring VCA standards and values are upheld.

The role ensures Partner stores and Management are aware of a store’s strengths and challenges and works to overcome them through detailed analysis, anticipation of needs/opportunities and follow-up action plans.  The role understands store sales performance drivers, trends, goals and results.  The Account Executive will lead monthly meetings with partner stores to review business and progress towards achieving all goals (i.e. sales goals and client experience initiatives).  The Account Executive is asked to participate and contribute in corporate meetings with current business trends and needs, lead formal quarterly business review meetings with partners and transmit all Maison information to the partners stores (launch & product information, policy recommendations, etc.).  Regular store visits and reviewing results with Store Managers, as well as working on the floor with teams to motivate sales associates, understand business needs and implement new actions to support sales growth are required. 

The Account Executive must partner transversally with Supply Chain, Training, Marketing and Communications to ensure store needs/challenges are met and properly executed.  The Account Executive must ensure the daily requests of Partner stores are being fulfilled and must have oversight of the partnership with Supply Chain to handle the flow of product.

Qualifications for this role include: a Bachelor’s Degree and/or five years of working in an Account Sales Management role in a luxury environment is preferred.  An Account Executive must have the ability to work with high end consumers and established experience in planning and achieving sales goals.  They are required to oversee their T&E budget, travel up to 75% of the time.  Knowledge of SAP, POS or Sales/Inventory System is recommended as well as advanced knowledge of Microsoft office.  The role requires an individual to display excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and presentation skills.  At this time, we are not sponsoring work visas.  Applicants must have valid work authorization for employment is the USA.
