Job description

Responsibilities

The Assistant Project Manager is in charge of the following:

1. Assist with requesting, and collection of quotations on behalf of the PM, according to current proposal requests.
2. Support the PM concluding projects at or under agreed-upon budget.
3. Support the PM with other daily tasks.
4. Compare supplier price & quality and provide feedback reports to PM.
5. Assist in the research for event solutions according to current proposal requests.
6. Visit warehouses & factories with the PM.
7. Do pre-event site checks with the PM.
8. Prepare basic (pre & post-event) budgets under direct supervision of the PM.
9. Collecting samples of products & materials for current project requests.
10. Assist in managing & developing the supplier panel.
11. Assist in managing (possibly overnight/weekend) site-setups & teardowns.

Requirements

Qualifications, Abilities & Requirements

1. Chinese speaker with bachelor degree required.
2. Fluent English and Chinese required (spoken and written).
3. At least one-year (full-time) working experience, preferably internationally.
4. No previous event management experience required.
5. Ability to work in an international team.
6. Responsible, can be held accountable for tasks.
7. Can be tough against adversity.
8. Must enjoy travel for out-of-city projects.
9. Passionate about events (management).
10. Great with details.
11. Flexible, creative, positive problem-solvers preferred.
12. Honest.
