The Position

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and the Head of Revenue Management and Distribution, the successful Commercial Analyst must have demonstrated experience in providing analysis and financial support to enable the business to make sound business decisions. This role will work closely with non-finance teams delivering best-in-class analysis to the Head of Revenue Management, the Regional Directors of Global Sales, and the VP of Sales to decide the key drivers for the future growth of the company. You'll need to be confident and highly professional, as you will also be liaising with the Managing Director. It is essential that you possess strong financial acumen and have a strong commercial awareness. In addition, you must have excellent Excel skills and will thrive in a fast-paced organisation.

Key responsibilities 

• Produce Monthly sales, revenue reports and rate Parity Reports
• Perform competitive benchmark studies (STR)
• Produce & distribute monthly GSO sales activity report
• Create Sales Forecast and Annual Targets for all GSO
• Daily pick-up analysis and reporting
• Calculation of commissions at year-end
• Weekly performance reporting of Group Business Contracts
• Collect hotels sales performance actuals and liaise with finance

To apply for this position you must meet the following requirements:

• Graduate in Financial / Business / Mathematical / Analytical or similar course
• Strong numerical skills are a must - ideally an A in A-Level Maths
• Have a minimum of 3 years' experience with Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF
• Financial acumen
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong excel and modeling skills
• Ability to work within reporting timetables and day to day deadline requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Previous experience in Revenue Management would be advantageous
