Job Description: 1. To understand the nature of the competitive market, to research and compile intelligence on selected markets and accounts so us to understand the buying behavior of customers and the criteria for hotel selection.
2. To be extremely well versed on the facilities and benefits of Rosewood Beijing as they apply to individual market segments.
3. To be fully conversant with all business units within the hotel, and be comfortable in presenting the core unique selling propositions for each unit.
4. To plan sales call activity to optimize revenue conversion based on key selling priorities determined and agreed with the Director of Sales.
5. To act as a positive role model and ambassador of Rosewood Beijing and Rosewood Hotels and Resorts in keeping with company standards and expectations.
6. To capture timely and relevant customer data in appropriate Sales databases.
7. To share important account updates with members of the hotel team including other departments so that key personnel have important feedback on the current status of accounts. Job Requirements: 1. Minimun 3 year experiences on the same position.
2. Solid experience in luxury hotel sector with an understanding of key markets.
3. General Skills: Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest’s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
4. Language: Required to speak, read and write English.
