To provide a professional and secured environment for our members, guests and employees. The Resort Service Attendant is responsible to protect the private atmosphere of CordeValle for the enjoyment of the members and the guests.

 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

 

 

·         The ability to express a warm and genuine welcome to our member/guests as the first point of contact at CordeValle.

 

·         The ability to recognize and greet members by name.

 

·         The ability to keep documentation of guest and members entering the property.

 

·         The ability to document incidents in writing as needed.

 

·         Demonstrate ability to operate camera systems.

 

·         Meet and exceed guest and staff expectations by providing CordeValle five star service.

 

·         Provide value added service to guests by doing whatever is reasonable and possible to exceed guest expectations.

 

·         Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and supervisors.

 

·         Phone etiquette – answer the phone within three rings, offer a warm greeting, identity yourself and ask how you can assist.

 

·         Demonstrate teamwork by cooperating and assisting staff as needed.

 

·         Handle difficult situations effectively; remain calm and courteous.

 

·         In all situations demonstrate Character, Courtesy, Calm and Charm.

 

·         Uphold company standards of conduct, grooming, dress and personal hygiene. 

 

·         Ensure compliance with all safety and health requirements of CordeValle, state and federal regulations.

 

·         Ensure proper care and use of all CordeValle equipment. 

 

·         Keep the Gatehouse neat, clean and organized at all times.

 

·         Carry out all reasonable requests by management that the employee is capable of performing. 

 

·         Keep immediate supervisor promptly informed of any problems or any matters of significance.

 

·         Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures.

 

·         Maintain guest and member security.

 

·         Keep uninvited vehicles off property.

 

·         Contact a Sales Manager when a guest arrives for a scheduled site tour. If the Sales Manager is not available contact the FOM.

 

·         If a visitor requests an unscheduled site tour contacts the FOM or MOD.

 

·         Send any subpoena servers to Human Resources for assistance.

 

·         Notify HR regarding any internal guests who do not have an approved CDV parking pass.

 

·         Notify HR regarding any internal guests who are not following the speed limit.

 

·         Visitors seeking employment – offer them the CordeValle Recruitment card.

 

·         Give directions to the HR Office for applicants that have a set appointment with HR. Call HR to confirm before sending the applicants over.   

 

·         Complete opening and closing procedures for the tennis center.

 

·         Unlock all the Tennis Courts

 

·         Unlock storage area and remove all seat cushions and place them accordingly.

 

·         Replace any leftover items, i.e. Ball Machine, extra balls, towels and return to storage area

 

·         Place cushions back into storage area and lock up

 

·         Make sure that Tennis pavilions windows and doors are all locked.

 

·         Lock Tennis Courts

 

·         Maintain a favorable working relationship with all employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working culture...

 

·         Keep the gate house organized and clean at all times.

 

·         At all time projects a favorable image of CordeValle to the public.

 

·         All other duties as assigned.

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

 

 

Educational Requirements:

 

High school diploma or equivalent

 

 

 

Required Skills:

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively in English with internal and external guests.

 

 

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Comprehension of basic math will be expected.

 

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exits. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Must be able to exert physical effort in transporting 50 pounds, endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, reach up and down, remain stationary at times throughout work periods, and satisfactorily communicate with guests and co-workers to their understanding. Ability to sit and stand during for long durations of time.
