New Restaurant Opening May 2018 - Rüya London!

Rüya London will be opening its doors in May and promises to be one of the biggest openings of the year. We are looking for enthusiastic, hard working individuals who are seeking their next big challenge. If the below sounds like you then click apply!

To support the seamless running of the restaurant providing a highly efficient and effective service, ensuring standards are maintained and guest comfort and safety is paramount at all times. To establish and maintain good working relationship amongst the restaurant team and kitchen brigade.

Requirements

1. To set up the mise-en-place stations for the various meal periods according
to performance standards.
2. To prepare food items according to the standard recipes, ensuring the flair,
creativity and quality standards that the Restaurant has become known for.
3. To assist in controlling expenses and minimize waste of all food items.
4. To collect food requisitions for the outlet kitchen as directed.
5. To assist in maximizing employee morale and productivity.
6. To work in any section of the kitchen when necessary or as requested by
the outlet chef.
7. To become familiar with all sections of the kitchen to facilitate the flexible
use of employees.
8. To ensure that operating and kitchen equipment is maintained to a good
standard with minimum breakage.
9. To break down mise-en-place stations at the end of meal periods and store
the food away properly.

Main Duties Operational
1. To report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform at all times.
2. To provide a courteous and professional service at all times.
3. To maintain good working relationships with colleagues and all other
departments.
4. To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the restaurant’s policy
relating to Fire, Hygiene and Safety.
5. To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all
times.
6. To have a complete understanding of the restaurant’s employee handbook
and adhere to the regulations contained within it.
7. To clean up tabletops, shelves, kitchen utensils, operating equipments,
drawers etc before leaving the work place.
8. To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned by
the Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef etc
9. To respond to change in the departmental function as directed by the
industry, company or restaurant.
