Job description

We are looking for a proactive and dynamic professional to join our Finance Team. The candidate must be meticulous, with keen eye for details, organized and focused.

The responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Produce Monthly F&B Cost Control report detailing achieved cost against budget.
• Check any discrepancies and obtain valid explanations from concerned departments.
• Conduct monthly physical inventories and produce monthly outlet inventory results detailing credits/debits for adjustments such as management’s discounts, food transfers, spoilage.
• Provide reconciliation of food, beverage, and retail outlet costs.
• Check invoices against receiving record and compare them with purchase order and purchase request.
• Record the total daily purchase by chart of accounts and accumulate for month end balancing with account payable.
• Check and review filled requisitions which are posted by issuing department and ensure that goods are not issued more than requested.
• Reconcile all inventory accounts based on actual purchases and actual inventory stock take and allocate the expenses to the respective department based on their requisitions.
• Make sure all inventory accounts in the general ledger are balanced with the actual stock take valuation report.
• Produce monthly detailed menu analysis based on recipe costings.
• Produce Daily Food Cost Report.
• Make spot checks in all outlets.
• Monitor par stock level; ensure POS/PMS is updated and accurate.
• Liaise with Purchasing on any supply or pricing issues.
• Organize inventory on all operating equipment of the hotel, and to prepare detail loss and breakage quantities and amount.
• To perform related duties and special project as assigned.

Requirements

Education:
- High School Diploma
- Computer literate (Micros, Windows XP, Word, Excel, MS Outlook), practical knowledge of computerized Property Management Systems, including MICROS, and FMC systems where applicable.

Experience:
3-5 years cost control experience preferably gained within a deluxe hotel/ resort environment or in a similar large F&B operation.
