Our Director of Enginering, Besnik is looking for a passionate, dedicated and energetic Shift Engineer to join his highly skilled and dependable Engineering Team, keeping Sea Containers London ship-shape and Bristol fashion! More than just a bunch of handymen, you will be tasked in ensuring the maintenance of equipment and building fabric securing a seamless and unforgettable experience for our discerning guests.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in a similar role, enthusiastic and a team player!

Experience Required
-
Experience in a public contact position and experience in a similar role as a Hotel Engineer is essential.

Sound knowledge of maintenance principles. Electrical, mechanical and plumbing qualifications preferred.

Ability to multitask, work in a fast paced environment and have a high level attention to detail.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Committed, self-motivated and enthusiastic demeanour, even on a bad day!

Comfortable in communicating with guests, colleagues and management.

Excellent time management skills and understanding of how to prioritise tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Fully aware and trained on the fire panel and procedures to be component in the event of an emergency.

Champion guest name usage and guest engagement levels.

Be committed to a friendly but focused work environment.

Attend training sessions/courses as required.

Assist other department staff with departmental familiarisation.

Ensure that the Company policies are followed in all respects and are consistent with the policies set out in the employee handbook.
