Job description

We are currently looking for an experienced and talented Sushi Demi Chef to join the team of our fantastic restaurant, Sexy Fish, part of Caprice Holdings.

Sexy Fish has a capacity for 190 covers on the ground floor, an extensive bar area and a stunning private dining space on the lower ground floor. The restaurant is vibrant, glamorous with high energy focusing on the finest quality ingredients to create an Asian inspired fish and seafood menu, complimented with a creative and extensive wine list and cocktail list.

The successful Sushi Demi Chef will work closely with the Sushi and Sashimi chefs ensuring the quality of dishes being prepared are consistent and meet the standards of the Head Sushi Chef.

Requirements

We are ideally looking for a Demi Sushi Chef:
• Has previous Sushi Chef experience in a busy, high quality Japanese restaurant
• Good knowledge of Asian ingredients and techniques is essential
• Has exceptional knife skills with the ability create hand rolls and prepare fish.
• Has the ability to work under pressure maintaining standards and consistency
• Has a passion for food and working with seasonal high quality ingredients
• Has a keen interest to develop their knowledge and progress
