Job description

Shanghai Disney Resort, the first Disney resort in mainland China, will be a place where friends and families can escape together to a whole new world of fantasy, imagination, creativity, and adventure. On opening day, the resort will be home to the Shanghai Disneyland theme park, two themed hotels – Shanghai Disneyland Hotel and Toy Story Hotel, Disneytown, a large shopping, dining and entertainment venue, a Broadway-style theatre, a Wishing Star Park and other outdoor recreation areas. Shanghai Disneyland will be a Magic Kingdom-style theme park featuring classic Disney storytelling and characters but with authentic cultural touches and themes tailored specifically for the people of China. As we create this magical destination, we’re looking for a variety of world-class professionals including front line Cast Members and an innovative development team to help our plans take shape.
This position will be responsible to conduct services and build relations to all cast members who living in the cast dormitory.
Responsibilities
  • This position will be responsible to conduct services and build relations to all cast members who living in the cast dormitory.
  • May need to inform law enforcement, media relations and HR depending on the nature of the incidents.Day to day follow up- Guest services comments, influence and oversight. Emulates all duties and responsibilities of the AM while offering the following additional contributions to the operating area:
  • Interfaces with Property management, security, front-line Cast Members, peers in other lines of business and serve as the point-of-contact for day-to-day operations.
  • Engaged in conflict and dispute resolution, HR and other sensitive interactions with Residents.
  • Task manage as requested; work effectively with teammates and partners to assess the situation/need, compile and analyze research, outline an effective communication approach/strategy, develop key messages and FAQs, as well as use appropriate communication tactics and vehicles to achieve plan goals.
  • Partner with the Cast Housing team to maintain awareness of initiatives; develop and implement global engagement strategies and gain appropriate support/buy-in when needed
  • Partner with Security, Safety team, internal communication team on the crisis communication.
  • Manage Housing events, activities and initiatives, such as arrivals events.
  • Maintain DORMS communication module (if any), including content, templates, processes and approvals.

Basic Qualifications
  • Demonstrated operational Guest service experience and Guest service skills
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written, editing and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with conflict and change management
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information and work well under pressure in crisis or emergency situations
  • Proven ability to function effectively in a team environment
  • Demonstrated passion for developing others
  • Proven strong partnering, networking, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills
