Job description

Shanghai Disney Resort, the first Disney resort in Mainland China, is a place where friends and families can escape together to a whole new world of fantasy, imagination, creativity and adventure. The resort is home to the Shanghai Disneyland theme park, featuring six lands, as well as two themed hotels – Shanghai Disneyland Hotel and Toy Story Hotel, Disneytown, a large shopping, dining and entertainment district, a Broadway-style theatre, Wishing Star Park and other outdoor recreation areas. Shanghai Disneyland is a Magic Kingdom-style theme park featuring classic Disney storytelling and characters but with authentic cultural touches and themes tailored specifically for the people of China. As we continue to develop this magical destination, we’re looking for a variety of world-class professionals including front line Cast Members and an innovative development team to help our plans take shape
Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Conduct OC/AFC/MC weekly cash forecast analysis within deadlines
  • Schedule cash pool requirement among 3 legal entities, revolver needs, contractor payments, and PoP based on cash forecast to ensure cash in a liquid position
  • Provide daily projections of cash payments on a weekly basis to support weekly investment proposals, and thus increasing and optimizing interest income earned
  • Monitor and analyze the variances between the cash out-the-door vs. forecast
  • Consolidation of variance explanations to support liquidity analyses
Partnership
  • Partner with internal stakeholders on liquidity analysis
  • Support shareholder communications for liquidity analysis
Basic Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of relevant professional work experience in financial/business analysis, strategic planning related functions
  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Finance
  • Advanced proficiency in quantitative analysis, critical thinking and financial modeling
  • High integrity and commitment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities to completion within deadlines
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, confident
  • Strong computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Fluent in spoken and written Chinese and English
  • Demonstrated strong partnering skills and detail-oriented
