Roles & Responsibilities

<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 9pt;">-<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 7pt;"> Plans and supervises the activities of an extensive and diverse workforce to ensure the smooth and profitable operations of the hotel.
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 9pt;">-<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 7pt;"> Responsible for dealing with guests’ feedback as for strategizing and preparing reports
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 9pt;">-<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 7pt;"> Be able to build teamwork and guide the employees to work as one well-functioning team
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 9pt;">-<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 7pt;"> Manages budgets, expenses, analyze and interpret financial information for rooms and food and beverage profitability
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 9pt;">-<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 7pt;"> Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 9pt;">-<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 7pt;"> Engages with customers (welcome them in the facilities, address their feedback, find solutions to problems, offer information etc.)
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 9pt;">-<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 7pt;"> Provides customer service and accommodating those who may need extra assistance
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 9pt;">-<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 7pt;"> Deals with maintenance issues, ensuring the property is maintained up to standards, maintenance programs are being carried out with quality
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 9pt;">-<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 7pt;"> Collaborates with external parties such as suppliers, travel agencies, event/conference planners when necessary
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 9pt;">-<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 7pt;"> Inspects facilities on a regular basis and enforce strict compliance with health and safety, as well as food hygiene standards
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 9pt;">-<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 7pt;"> Typically resides on the hotel property and responds to emergencies in the absence of the General Manager.
Requirements
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 9pt;">-<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 7pt;"> Proven experience as Resident Manager or relevant roles. Typically requires 2 years experiences in the related areas
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 9pt;">-<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 7pt;"> Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 9pt;">-<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 7pt;"> Understanding of all hotel management best practices and relevant laws and guidelines
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 9pt;">-<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 7pt;"> Working knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of hotel management software (PMS) is an advantage
