To organize and develop the Shangri-La Hotel - Bengaluru finance department so that it performs its work duties according to the standards established by Shangri-La International Management and the General Manager. The Director of Finance acts as the financial adviser to Management and is expected to have a complete understanding of all hotel operations and finances. They are expected to assist in the formulation of operating policies for the hotel in general, and specifically, must be able to administer and delegate all detailed accounting procedures to the people qualified to respond. They are also required to prepare, in a timely manner, the monthly financial statement as well as all other management reports required. Lastly, they must prepare the annual operating budget for the hotel.
