The Assistant Banquet Manager supports the Banquet Manager with the overall performance and operation banquet including guest dining experience, business volume, colleagues’ management and productivity to achieve the financial results and outlet standard. S/he is responsible for guiding all service colleagues’ assigned in the outlet. S/he also adheres to food safety and health standards of the outlet and ensures team compliance.
The Assistant Banquet Manager must be motivated, proactive, vibrant, innovative, and desires to delight our guests and colleagues. S/he must have good business rapport in a multicultural environment and strong drive for result. S/he must also be updated with the latest banquet operations and trends.
S/he is required to have a minimum of 2 years work experience in the same capacity (preferably in a luxury hotel, in Middle East or in Asia). Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic speaking would be an added value) and have the computer skills (e.g. Excel, Power point, word, requisitions system, etc.).
