COMPANY INTRODUCTION
Located in Shanghai New Bund International Business District, Shangri-La Qian Tan, Shanghai is within walking distance of the New Bund Center and the New Bund Taikoo Li. It is also conveniently located near the sports, leisure, business, retail, international school, healthcare facilities and residential area in Qian Tan.
Leveraging on the developmental plans of Shanghai New Bund International Business District, the new Shangri-La hotel will be an ideal venue for meetings and events, plus offer the places for both a relaxed stay and inspirational experiences for locals and travelers alike. 
It takes 30 minutes 15 minutes and 35 minutes, respectively, by car from the hotel to Hongqiao International Airport, Lujiazui area in Pudong (CBD) and Pudong International Airport. The nearby metro line 8, 6 and 11, and the upcoming line 19 allow quick connections to many places of the city.
 
We are looking for Service Manager – Human Resources Operations, we rely on you to:

  • To implement effective and efficient payroll and procedures for the hotel, also ensuring that all payrolls are covered by properly authorized documents and follows established procedures.
  • Implements the staff record and ensuring that all staff files are well maintained and updated.
  • To ensure all the HR implementation are be aligned with the requirements of labor law and local labor policies
  • Communication with staff to seek for staff’s opinions and comments on employee satisfaction issue.
  • Gives prompt responses to staff’s requests and ensures the delivery of courteous efficient service to all staff.
  • To oversees and staffs’ welfares, including Staff canteen, staff dormitory and staff transport.
  • Develops and implements staff motivation, recognition, and participation program for the hotel
  • Performs other duties as delegated

  • You should be a motivator, self-starter, and team builder
  • You should display initiative and commitment to professional values
  • Good in oral and written English and Mandarin due to the working needs.
  • Good knowledge in labor law and local labor policies.
  • To have a capability of innovation.
  • Basic skill in training.
