Blu Bar Manager
About the role
Have you got experience in a high volume cocktail bar? An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced restaurant manager to work in a modern cocktail Bar – Blu Bar
The Bar is located high above the city with panoramic views of Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House and is an attraction in its own right.
Reporting to the Director and Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, you will supervise the day to day running of the restaurant and operate the outlet at maximum profitability by maintaining the highest standards in service.
- Monitors and ensures smooth operations of the sections appointed in Blu Bar on 36.
- Obtains customer feedback during operations to ensure satisfaction.
Proper and tactful handling of verbal complaints from customers.
Ensures that all materials, equipment and machinery are properly used and regularly cleaned in order to prolong use.
Ensures general maintenance and follow up on work order forms with Engineering department.
Recommends improvements in all aspects of their appointed sections as appropriate.
Submits the Daily Report to Director of Food & Beverage daily and copied to the assistant.
Ensures cooperation and smooth communication between staff in sections appointed and other departments.
We are looking for:
To be successful in this role it is essential that you have at least two-year experience managing a bar.
You will be able to lead a diverse and extremely busy team whilst always providing exceptional service to our guests.
Applicants must have current RSA certification and full work rights in Australia. Student and Working Holiday Visa holders will not be considered.
