Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney, situated in the heart of the historic Rocks district. With 565 guest rooms and suites, a luxurious Chi Spa, 8 food and beverage outlets and 17 conference and meeting rooms, this Deluxe 5 star hotel is tailored towards both the corporate and leisure guest.
Your role is to clean and sanitise all assigned guest rooms and suites in accordance with established standards and procedures to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.
Be aware of the procedure regarding the opening of guest rooms.
Complete all assigned tasks to the standards expected through Shangri-La training.
Trolley, pantries and service areas on designated floor are to be kept clean, organised and operational at all times.
Clean guest rooms, suites and corridors to Shangri-La standard and replenish supplies and amenities as necessary.
Recognise priorities in room status.
Reports any guest complaints, incidents, suspicious persons or room doors found open to the Housekeeping Office immediately.
Perform other duties as requested by the Floor Supervisor, Service Manager – Housekeeping, Assistant Executive Housekeeper or Director of Housekeeping.
What we expect from you:
- Previous experience working as a Room Attendant in a Hotel
- Full time working availability
Be punctual, efficient and maintain a good relationship with co-workers and Supervisors.
Knowledge of Hotel environment
- Is comfortable with physical requirment such as bending, twisting, kneeling, walking etc.
- Capable of pushing/pulling/lifting up to 10kgs
