His/her primary duty is to produce the best quality food items available. He/she will work closely with the Service Leader – Chef de Partie to assure a smooth operation in all aspects of the Kitchen. The image of Shangri-La''s Boracay Resort & Spa should be reflected at all times through fresh, correctly and hygienic prepared food to a quality of the highest standards. He/she must have a helpful attitude, extending beyond guest’s expectations. It should be noted that a Service Associate - Commis will be designated in charge of any area at any time and therefore must have a full and comprehensive working knowledge of all areas within the Culinary Department
- Experience in an International Hotel or a high calibre Restaurant is an advantage.
- Knowledgeable in international cuisine.
- Knowledgeable in good practice of Hygiene and Sanitation.
- Flexible and adaptable to different working locations.
- Displays initiative and creativity.
- Guest-oriented, team player and has eye for details.
