We are looking for candidate who possess a strong leadership skills, creative and have an attention to details. He/She drives for result by achieving financial target and customer expectations. He / She must be able to work independently, love multifunctional role and a team player.


The sales manager handles local and international companies with individual and group travel potential for the hotel. He/she, under the guidance of the Director of sales and Director of Business Development implement all the sales activities and action plans outlined in the marketing plan of the hotel and maximize the business opportunity in his/her area of responsibility.



  • Maximizes upselling opportunities whenever possible.
  • Personally handle and actively supervises the management of key accounts in each of the hotel’s revenue contributing market segments.
  • Where applicable, work closely with the National Sales Officer(S) to assist the team in optimizing revenue generation.
  • Develops and executes effective business development strategies that will ensure continued and sustainable profitable growth for rooms as well as revenue centers.
  • Responsible for continuous assessment of pipeline accounts of each Sales Manager to evaluates its viability and potential.
  • Handles leads and inquires form RSOs and follow up accordingly with the event management team.
  • Keeps abreast of current and future competitors’ products, pricing and sales programs and deploy resources to efficiently optimize RevPAR and achieve/maintain the leading market position.
  • Be familiar with and use the sales and marketing software solutions i.e Nexus, meeting broker, and IDeaS in managing sales accounts and optimize all revenue opportunities.
  • Analyzes market changes. Under the direction of the DOS and DOBD, implements proactive programs to meet changes i.e. changes brought by political, economic or competitive changes in market places.
  • Participates and contributes information in the forecasting process to come up with an accurate forecast.
  • Supervises all aspects of familiarization groups including inquiry, coordination and execution thereof.



  • College Graduate / Degree  in Sales/Marketing/Hospitality Management/Tourism
  • Having at least 5 years of experience in a similar capacity in an international hotel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent in selling and negotiation skills.
  • Innovative and has a strong sense of market trends.
  • Self-Starter, Tactful and assertive in achieving business result.
  • Have strong customer focus and quality oriented
  • Indian Resident is preferred.
