This exciting opportunity was designed for seasoned Leisure Sales professionals with a passion for Sales, Business Travel solutions, and who have demonstrated consistently strong revenue production in a hotel / resort environment.

Responsibilities
  • Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed Business Travel / Leisure Sales revenue goals
  • Maximize revenue by selling the hotel, to previous & current and potential clients.
  • Handle account details so that all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented. Coordinate various department participation in servicing accounts
  • Participate in daily business review meetings, pre-convention meetings, trainings and other sales-related meetings as required.
  • Attend trade shows, community events and industry meetings.
  • Conduct research and analyze Travelclickreports (Demand 360, Agency 360) STAR, MarRFP.
  • Assist in implementing special promotions, relating to direct sales segments, i.e. Sales blitzes, Wholesale promotions, etc.
  • Understand all GDS Systems and Demand 360, Agency 360, STAR and other reports.
  • Understand loading rates into GDS. MarRFP a plus
  • Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 4 years of progressive hotel sales experience in a specific market preferred.
  • Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and CI/TY. Advanced knowledge of sales skills, revenue management, training, and motivation of peers.
  • Command of the English language both written and verbal
