About the job

The Opportunity:

SiteMinder is a home grown Australian SaaS ex-start up with high growth targets of doubling our hotel customer base and entering into new markets across the globe.

As our Business Development Manager based in the Philippines you will be responsible for running and manage the full sales cycle, from placing outbound phone calls (cold calling) to potential customers in the Philippines to negotiating and closing out the sales process.

Our SiteMinder Asia office is based in Bangkok where we will fly you to attend sales training to learn about our products, industry, processes and internal software systems after which you will return to the Philippines to start making those sales.

About you

What you can expect in the role:
  • Work to achieve monthly sales quotas and revenue goals and drive interest in SiteMinder products
  • Learn and utilise sales processes, maintaining set sales standards at the highest level
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for the SiteMinder sales department and builds SiteMinder's brand
  • Become knowledgeable of SiteMinder products and target market to facilitate sales efforts
  • Provide information to potential and existing customers in order to educate and inform new opportunities about SiteMinder products and services
  • Utilise CRM database (Salesforce) to track activities, update data and competitive information
  • Your skills and experience:
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in fluent English and Tagalog with particularly strong phone skills
  • Previous sales experience in the hotel or OTA industry is highly regarded
  • Resiliency: If the word "NO" just makes you more adamant to succeed at something, then we would definitely like to speak with you
  • Confidence and an eagerness to succeed and proven experience in being a top performer
