As the Content Marketing Manager at SiteMinder you will be responsible for defining the brand voice and story, driving new business and customer retention and building a market-leading content operation.

Establishing and leading both an in-house writer and a team of external freelance writers, you will work closely with key marketing stakeholders to support them with content deliverables that drive key marketing KPI's and our overall business goals:
• Attracting site traffic and social followers
• Driving new sales leads
• Empowering sales with relevant content to send to prospects and
• Fuelling PR and influencer relations


When our co-founders launched SiteMinder in 2006 they didn't think 12 years later we would have more than 30,000 customers, over 600 employees, 6 products, a ping pong and pool table, regular social events and a culture of innovation and collaboration.

You will be part of a global marketing team that is provided the autonomy to be creative in your storytelling to target our SiteMinder personas, develop a strategy that will create best-in-class content and a team that will recognise your efforts and celebrate the wins.

About you

What you'll be doing:
  • Mapping out a global content strategy for SiteMinder that supports both short and long-term marketing initiatives
  • Reviewing analytics continuously and responding accordingly with data-led recommendations and tactics
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimised for all channels including online, social media, email, mobile and video
  • Develop and lead a team of writers and content producers; be the gatekeeper of best practices in grammar, messaging, writing and style - as well as content creation, distribution, maintenance and content repurposing
  • These are the main points but if you like what you read there will be plenty of initiatives and campaigns to help us attract, reach and convert Hotels to SiteMinder's customers
  • All about you:
  • Tertiary qualified in communication, journalism, marketing or related field
  • Experienced in leading and inspiring teams of creative content producers to achieve their personal and professional goals
  • Strong interpersonal and organisation skills to drive collaboration and growth
  • An understanding of marketing principles and how content plays it's part
  • You will have a combined marketing and publishing mindset, with the most important aspect being to think "customer first"
    • Language required: English.
