The Role
Regional Sales Manager

The Regional Sales Manager will manage our high-volume Latin America inside sales team based in Dallas, ensuring team performance is meeting or exceeding targets. The Regional Sales Manager will also onboard, mentor and train new and existing sales team members, providing regular coaching where necessary.

Requirements

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will:

  • Lead and motivate an inside sales team dedicated to Latin America, setting clear expectations of performance and conduct and measuring against this in order to meet or exceed team sales targets.
  • Coach and mentor team on how to improve performance in areas of sales technique, building a pipeline, etc.
  • Assess each team member's sales pipeline and prepare regular forecast reports.
  • Review the sales activity and performance dashboard for each team member, offering guidance where needed.
  • Onboard new team members and continually review the performance of all team members, identifying opportunities for development and improvement.
  • Work to minimize the drop-off or "never went live" percentage of sales by assessing sales quality and encouraging properly qualified sales.
  • Create and maintain an open, productive and healthy sales culture that encourages high employee engagement in alignment with SiteMinder's company culture and values.
  • Adopt the relevant processes, procedures and policies of SiteMinder to ensure a consistently high level of work. Where necessary, identify short falls and suggest improvements for the process, procedure and/or application.
  • What you bring:
  • Experience managing a team of inside sales employees within a software-as-a-service (SaaS) organization.
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity or knowledge of the hospitality/travel technologies is highly preferred.
  • A passion for leading, motivating and teaching others.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills with an ability to set and exceed targets.
  • Operational knowledge of Salesforce CRM.
  • Experience in dealing with clients and employees from different backgrounds and cultures.
