The Role
Key Account Diretor

The Key Account Director is primary point of contact for SiteMinder's priority clients, ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction and business retention. The role will be responsible for building solid business relationships and understanding the clients in order identify the need for other SiteMinder products and encourage new and repeat business.

Requirements

As a Key Account Director, you will:

  • Provide a point of contact to priority customers to resolve any issues and optimize their use of SiteMinder’s products in order to increase revenue.
  • Take charge of strategic account planning for key clients and be skilled at negotiating and influencing to maximize the clients' potential.
  • Become a strategic partner for SiteMinder’s key groups and RDX partners, understanding their business and IT strategy.
  • Work with internal staff to quickly resolve support problems. Communicate all client issues with the relevant team within SiteMinder, advocating the client’s interests.
  • Communicate with the client clearly and in a timely manner on a range of problems, such as conflict resolution, account disputes and compliance on deliverables and revenue.
  • Set the clients' expectations in alignment with SiteMinder’s SLAs and deliver on expectations.
  • Manage customer attrition across the group portfolio to less than 8%.
  • Provide client feedback on SiteMinder's software solutions to the Product Team so that the software can be reviewed in line with the feedback.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to gain new business and grow existing accounts.
  • Partner with the Enterprise Sales Team to identify potential cross-sell or upsell opportunities.
  • Work with the Product and Technical Teams to ensure that the product roadmap and direction is shared with the clients and that all product features and support cases are managed.
  • Work with VIP and Partner Services Team to ensure adherence to support SLAs and required group trainings.
  • Create and manage integrated account plans for A-Level Groups and the quarterly business review process.
  • Demonstrate commitment to the Key Accounts Team globally, to ensure the overall team achieves its goals, objectives and SLAs.
  • What you bring:
  • Solid experience in hotel revenue management and hotel sales. Experience working within a sales and revenue management role within and independent hotel and/or chain is ideal.
  • Understanding of all hotel distribution channels and an in-depth knowledge of the GDS, Consortia and TMCs.
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is HUGE plus.
  • Ability to create, maintain and enhance client relationships, operating at a strategic level as well as a detailed level when required.
  • Persistence - skilled at negotiating and driven to succeed.
