You will also execute regional strategy by leading and managing the Regional Sales Managers in a high volume, transaction acquisition environment whilst providing leadership, motivation and mentorship to Sales Representatives.

The Vice President of Sales - Americas is responsible for building, growing and leading a high-performance inside sales and enterprise sales team in The Americas. Along with the SiteMinder Executive team, the role will contribute to and execute the region's strategy by leading and managing the Regional Sales Managers while providing leadership, motivation, and mentorship to Sales Representatives and the region in general.

Requirements

People who are successful in this role:

  • Experience in building, developing and leading large inside sales teams to meet and exceed targets
  • Strong leadership experience with a successful track record of onboarding, training, developing and leading front line sales managers in a high volume transaction acquisition environment.
  • Experience in SaaS sales environments and an understanding of the dynamics they produce
  • Strong track record of high-quality hiring, mentorship, and development of sales personnel.
  • In-Depth knowledge of the sales process, and an intimate understanding of sales funnel mechanics
  • Experience in training in both the group and individual environments.
  • Experience in public speaking and market facing events such as trade shows and other industry events
  • Experience of using CRMs, in particular, SalesForce.com, to aid and track the sales processes and reporting on sales performance and forecasting.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills; the ability to engage at different levels of the business.
  • This job is all about:
  • Leading, managing and motivating a successful sales teams in a high volume, transaction acquisition environment.
  • Monitor and drive the team’s performance, ensuring that all team members are receiving regular feedback, encouraging those that are not achieving and where necessary performance management of underperforming employees.
  • Manage sales forecasting and sending necessary reports to the Global Head of Sales
  • Strong collaboration with the Marketing team to ensure the sales efforts are aided by a strong flow of qualified marketing driven prospects
  • Creating a sales culture that acquires long-term business for SiteMinder ensuring the expectations of a customer’s onboarding and support experience is clearly understood and new customer see SiteMinder as part of a long term partnership
  • Provide a summary of key metrics to the Global Head of Sales (current performance, activity performance and strategy).In conjunction with People and Culture, ensure we are meeting recruitment targets in terms of timing, numbers and quality.
  • Train, develop and mentor individual sales professionals and Sales Managers in the region to achieve set KPI’s (as advised by the Sales Team Leader)

  • Managing:  Regional Sales Managers and corresponding Sales Teams
  • Collaborating with: SiteMInder’s Customers, Onboarding Teams, Product Teams, Marketing Teams, Support Teams and GDS Team
