As part of our growth plan, we have recently created a new business unit, SiteMinder Pay where we have launched a payment product that helps hotels seamlessly process their guest reservation payments. SiteMinder Pay offers hoteliers a unique, integrated payment product that helps save them time and improves the way they run their businesses.

We're currently hiring for a Sales Executive - Payments, a role focusing on selling our new payment feature to our existing hotel customers. The role is required to sell the value of integrated payments to hotels, obtain the information required to activate the feature, provide on-boarding and training and encourage high usage of the solution. As the first SiteMinder Pay hire on the UK team, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of SiteMinder Pay by introducing the payment feature to our hotel customers and helping lead and shape our European sales effort. You will be at the front line of helping us grow by connecting our product with as many customers as possible.

About you

What you'll do:
  • Pitch, explain, and activate the payments feature for our existing hotels. This will be achieved by calling from a lead list, effectively articulating the value proposition and managing a sales funnel in the CRM
  • On-board and help provide training on how to use the payment feature
  • Encourage high usage of the payment feature through training, account setup, and helping answer support questions
  • Be effective at bringing market intelligence back into the organisation, from competitive threats; to recurring objections; to customers at risk
  • Work effectively with all internal systems, notable the CRM to ensure clean, concise and reportable data
  • Work in a highly collaborative fashion with the product, customer support, and project teams
  • Be an evangelist of SiteMinder Pay internally and externally
  • Who you are:
  • 2-5+ years of inside sales experience; ideally with small businesses or in hospitality
  • Are excited about joining a high-growth, quickly evolving product and team
  • Have experience pitching a product, emphasising certain features based on customer needs, and converting through a sales funnel
  • Are data and targets driven
  • Are comfortable with ambiguity and are excited to grow with us by helping define, implement and iterate on sales and customer support processes
  • Have experience using a CRM to manage and prioritise sales opportunities
  • Have solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Are a self-starter: You will be working remotely from the Sydney-based SiteMinder Pay team as the boots on the ground for the UK/IRE region
  • Spanish language a plus
