The Role
Sales Executive

The Sales Executive develops new business opportunities for SiteMinder through the identification and attraction of new customers and the upselling of products to existing customers. The role, based in Dallas, TX, USA, will target hotel clients across the US, Canada and/or Latin America via outbound and inbound sales calls.

As a Sales Executive, you will:

  • Plan and prioritize business development activities to achieve business aims and sales targets in conjunction with Regional Sales Managers.
  • Utilize and develop innovative strategies to maximize results and win over challenging targets. 
  • Respond to all incoming product inquiries, referrals and leads in a timely and effective manner.
  • Source opportunities and canvass potential clients via cold calling.
  • Prepare accurate quotes and develop and present proposals to customers in a professional and confident manner. 
  • Maintain accurate records of your business development activities on SiteMinder's CRM system (Salesforce).
  • Achieve sales key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets.
  • Finalize sales in a timely manner with a focus being placed on being proactive.
  • Maintain regular contact with prospective clients and new accounts.
  • Continue to identify upgrade opportunities with the existing customer base and generate new sales from these organizations.
  • Negotiate contracts as required, maintaining a balance between optimal service value for the client and SiteMinder's profit margins.
  • Ensure all documentation is complete post sales to set up trials and move the client to a subscription.
  • What you bring:
  • 1-2 years of experience working in an inside sales position, preferably within a software-as-a-service (SaaS) or similar tech-related company.
  • Some experience or familiarity with hotel and/or travel technology is a big plus.
  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A passion for the online technology space and a strong technical aptitude.
  • Goal-oriented: motivated to set and exceed targets.
