As part of our growth plan, we have recently launched two new transaction-revenue products: SiteMinder Pay and Demand Plus. SiteMinder Pay is a payment product that helps hotels seamlessly process their guest reservation payments, offering hoteliers a unique, integrated payment product that helps save them time and improves the way they run their businesses. Demand Plus is a new way for hotels to attract guests to stay at their hotel: in one step, hotels can list on high-performing travel sites and drive hotels to their own booking engine. These two new transaction-revenue products play a significant role in the growth profile of SiteMinder, and are considered the ‘startups within the startup’. 

The Opportunity…

The Transaction Sales Executive is an inside sales role focusing on selling our new transactions features to our existing hotel customers. The role is required to sell the value of SiteMinder Pay and Demand Plus to hotels, obtain the information required to activate the feature, and encourage high usage of the solution.
There will be multiple opportunities for growth both within the Transactions team and around the world as you help us define our customer value proposition and best ways of reaching and adding value to our hotel customers. 

Salary: £42k - £44k OTE

About you

What You'll Do:
  • Pitch, explain, and activate the transaction features for our existing hotels. This will be achieved by calling from a lead list, effectively articulating the value proposition and managing a sales funnel in the CRM 
  • Onboard and help provide training on how to use the features
  • Be effective at bringing market intelligence back into the organisation, from competitive threats; to recurring objections; to customers at risk
  • Work effectively with all internal systems, notably the CRM to ensure clean, concise and reportable data
  • What You'll Have:
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English and one of the following would be advantageous: German, French, Italian, Portuguese or Spanish
  • Experience working with sales revenue targets and KPI’s
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task, manage his/her own time and work under pressure
  • Can-do attitude, resilience to overcome objections and motivation for a high volume fast paced sales environment
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Nice to have - industry experience within one of the following areas: SaaS, OTA/Wholesaler/Meta, Hotel Revenue Management, Channel Management or Hospitality
    • Language required: English.
