Designing products that enables our hotel clients to focus on their guest’s experience is core part of who we are. The Channel Manager is the leading cloud platform for online room inventory and rate management; from a single dashboard our hotel clients are able to manage the health of their online distribution and performance across 400 of the world’s top hotel booking channels in real-time.
 
Currently we are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of the Channel Manager. In this role you will be working with our clients and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities to enhance the Channel Manager’s component areas – functions, features and the design of new products.

Requirements

What you'll do

  • Research, analysis, design and architecture of highly engaging, innovative and functionality rich SAAS technology for the online accommodation industry
  • Support the product development cycle from strategic planning to overseeing tactical activities and setting the product roadmap in order to achieve desired outcomes
  • Creation & ownership of the product requirements and feature lists
  • Manage product roadmap and priorities in a fast-changing environment
  • Validate requirements for core products and identify areas of new development
  • Lead the process of defining business requirements that align with SiteMinder’s business goals and are mapped against functional and non-functional requirements
  • Create high quality wire frames and ensure the user interface requirements are optimized for the technical environment and web presentation
  • Actively engage with all internal stakeholders to drive product development and communicate product updates
  • Ensure the ongoing health and commercial viability of products, including assessment of new functionality and product refinements.
  • Conduct market research and analysis for potential new features, new products and enhancements, using multiple methods such as client feedback, consultation with internal stakeholders and competitor analysis
  • Engage with external stakeholders on an ongoing basis to understand their needs and requirements and make this an integral part of solution design
  • Follow SiteMinder’s best practice procedures, specifically in regard to escalating any security concerns or breach of security.

  • Who you are
  • Previous experience in channel connectivity and distribution in the hospitality industry (online reservations and rates / availability distribution)
  • Strong Product Management experience with Software as a Service products
  • Solid, previous experience as a Business Analyst
  • A proven ability to conduct thorough and accurate competitor analysis
  • Strong wireframing expertise
  • Previous experience with web analytics
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage technical, creative and commercial team members
  • Critical thinking, with the ability to turn market needs into product realities
