SiteMinder is a home grown Australian ex-start up with high growth targets of doubling our customer base and entering into new markets across the globe.

To help us further achieve on our milestones and help build our future we are seeking a Strategic & Operational Insights Analyst, Customer to work closely with our Customer teams (Onboarding, Success, and Support)to help define key metrics, identify and analyse performance trends, decompose business drivers and levers, and investigate factors impacting organisational success.

As part of the Strategic Insights team you will partner functions across SiteMinder to empower them with insights influence decisions and drive overall performance. You will combine quantitative chops with qualitative thinking to deliver objective analysis and insights with a focus on whatever will move the needle most on both strategic and operational decisions.

Requirements

What you can expect in the role:

  • Partnering with our Customer teams (Onboarding, Success, and Support) to deliver analytical insights that influence decisions and drive overall performance
  • Partnering with Enterprise Ops teams to define both strategic and operational metrics and ensure they are accurately tracked in relevant systems and tools
  • Use tools like SFDC, Marketo, Tableau, Excel, SQL and whatever else you need to gather, analyse data to develop insights and inform decisions
  • Partnering with our BI team to design and implement automated dashboards covering the most commonly viewed reports
  • To be successful in this role you will:
  • Proven experience in an Analytical role (e.g. operations analysis, strategy consulting) and ideally working with / supporting sales or operations teams
  • You enjoy uncovering business drivers and levers, touching the bottom of the ocean with the data, learning new analytical methods/techniques, using first principles thinking and consistently delivering great results
  • You have excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complicated technical analysis into compelling narratives
  • Experience in SQL and/or building and using Tableau reports or other similar data visualisation tools
