The Role…

We are currently looking for a Junior Analyst on our Group FP&A team at our London Support Office!

Main responsibilities include:

  • Producing and issuing the daily sales report, covering all businesses and regions.
  • Production of the group weekly “flash” P&Ls, pulling in P&Ls from all regions.
  • Producing and maintaining weekly management reporting packs covering labour, food and beverage margins, league tables, sales graphs.
  • Production of commentary though variance analysis, investigating key areas and liaising with relevant department heads.
  • Maintaining the reporting suite by adding new sites and any additional revenue streams.
  • Creating reporting in a professional style and at a high level of accuracy, in a format suitable for distribution directly to the key business consumers, including the board, and investors.
  • Assist in the production of monthly management accounts and associated reporting.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting process and any forecasting as required.
  • Assist in project work as required, this could include for example in-depth labour analysis, food & beverage margin analysis, membership rates and mix analysis.
  • Additional ad-hoc duties as requested.

 What we look for…

  • Ability to deliver high quality work to tight deadlines.
  • High attention to detail, with the desire to spot and challenge when things do not look right.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work under own initiative.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A part-qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or someone recently starting on an accounting career. 
  • Advanced Excel skills will be crucial due to the nature of the data manipulation and analysis required in this role.
