Our successful Hygiene Manager …
• work as part of a team or individually to deliver high quality standards.
• build and maintain a working environment in which staff are fully trained, supportive of each other, motivated and competent
• apply HACCP policies and programmes diligently and effectively according to local municipality laws, rules, regulations and guidelines pertaining to food safety
• implement action plans ensuring the optimal functioning of all areas of food hygiene and safety expectations are exceeded in the hotel
• effectively manage the administration including meetings, action plans, reporting, complaints and investigations pertaining to food safety
• ensure staff knowledge and conduct monthly internal hygiene audits of the facilities

• at least 1 years’ experience in a similar role in a 4 or 5 star hotel
• must have a related tertiary qualification
• Be able to facilitate training related to HACCP and manage multiple tasks
• Be a team leader, flexible and build good relations with staff and external service providers
• Good attention to detail
• Complete responsibility to maintain the highest level of food hygiene and safety standards in the hotel
