IHG has a very exciting position available at our IHG Company Managed Staybridge Suites located in Houston Willowbrook!! Our Director of Sales opening is a great opportunity to join one of the world’s largest hotel companies and a great brand, Staybridge Suites.
At Staybridge Suites, our sales culture involves "owning our backyards" with a proactive, "hands on" sales approach. The idea candidate must be a proactive, self-starter who is dedicated, enthusiastic, energetic and looking to sell.
We are looking for a Director of Sales who knows how to get to the decision makers. Candidate should be an effective negotiator that can produce a win/win for both clients and hotel. Candidate should be able to create relationships that ensure repeat business. The candidate must be confident in their selling skills and not be afraid of competing for business in a competitive marketplace. The successful candidate will uncover new business to replace low producing accounts or lower priced business and they will be able to foster existing relationships to achieve success.
Being that the name of our game is outside sales calls with qualified decision makers- Our candidate should achieve booking goals by making sales calls to prospective clients in accordance with pre-assigned goals, will coordinate with various departments the activities that related to booking the business, and will negotiate rate and service plans to meet budgeted revenue goals.
