Assistant Restaurant Manager - Attiko Lisbon (inside ME Lisbon Hotel)

We are looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager for our new opening of a Pan-Asian restaurant fine dining, ATTIKO in Lisboa, inside ME Lisbon hotel.
Main responsibilities
- Support the Restaurant Manager overseeing daily operations of the restaurant.
- Supervises the opening & closing of the restaurant.
- Supervises a daily check up on the smooth performance of all restaurant machinery and equipment
- Handless customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Implement and maintain customer service standards.
- Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manages stock take and order supplies
- Plans the restaurant staff working schedules (rota, holidays, leaves)
- Handles employee relations and address any issues that may arise.
- Ensures the proper cleaning and lighting of all restaurant areas
- Manages the floor staff through coaching and training, in order to improve performance and to achieve the kitchen objectives and targets alongside GM and RM.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years previous experience in similar role and within fast paced environment experience in fine dining restaurants (Asiatic is a plus)
- Good communication skills in Portuguese and English.
- Knowledge of wines and spirits
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent knowledge of Food Safety and HACCP
- Ability to create a positive fine dining experience for customers.
