Director of Revenue Management

 

Summary of Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below, but not limited to these:

 

•Reports directly to General Manager
•Responsible for implementation of revenue management methods to maximize the turnover in accordance with hotel strategies and customer’s needs
•Responsible for having all the revenue management processes in place and ensures the optimization of the revenue tools, market intelligence
•Implements the revenue strategy on a daily basis, such as planning update, distribution channel monitoring, pricing adjustment and group quotes
•Drive Market Share (RGI) and Revenue Performance through proper pricing and mix management
•Prepare weekly/monthly occupancy and revenue forecast reports
•Facilitate and lead revenue strategy meetings
•Provides day to day leadership to operation of Revenue Analyst and eCommerce

 

 

Qualifications:

We are looking for a well organized and creative candidate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is able to display a “passion for perfection” and work in a dynamic environment. In addition, the candidate should possess:

 

• English proficiency, Japanese optional
• Minimum 4 year experience in revenue management
• Previous experience in large sized upscale hotel will be advantage
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Thorough knowledge of TARS,GDS, IDS and all distribution systems
• Good knowledge of revenue management’s tools as well as Hotel PMS , supportive tools, Price Trackers and Channel Managers
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of employees
• Good team working skills and able to work effectively and contribute in a team

 

Physical Aspects of Position:  Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following: • Frequent sitting throughout shift• Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, walking and standing• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
