JOB SUMMARY
 
As a Chef de Cuisine of our rooftop venue your main mission will be to provide an extraordinary culinary experience to our guests in our rooftop, serving lunch and  dinner in a fun and casual environment. You will work with an extraordinary chef partner and Executive Chef who will create a unique food and drink offering for this 90 seat rooftop venue offering a  bespoke food and drinks menu, open all year serving the Barcelona community. 
 
You will be leading the department empowering your employees to create a new unique original experience for our guests, encouraging, recognizing and training them to deliver an authentic and sophisticated service, and create a successful business.
 
In partnership with the Chef Partner, Executive Chef, the Rooftop Manager and General Manager Restaurants and Bars you will develop the standards of the department, work and follow up on guest and employee satisfaction focusing on continuous improvement and work to exceed the departmental and hotel’s goals.
 
If you are a truly experienced Chef de Cuisine with proven leadership in the role, you are passionate about the restaurant and culinary industry, you have the highest of standards and enjoy luxury, you believe that you can’t do your best without your team and you love to take care of them, then we have the right job for you.

The Barcelona EDITION is located on the edge of El Born District, in the heart of the city, besides the Barcelona Cathedral and right next to the Santa Caterina Market, steps away from main city beaches, las Ramblas and main luxury shops as well as Gaudí buildings in Passeig de Gràcia. The hotel features 100 guest rooms, a signature restaurant, lobby bar/café, rooftop bar, swimming pool and state-of-the-art fitness center and a night club.
