Job Summary

In this truly unique opportunity, the Food and Beverage Director of Training is responsible for developing, coordinating, implementing and conducting compliance training, and food/beverage in department training and other hotel-appropriate training programs to promote a well-trained staff resulting in positive guest relations and increased customer satisfaction scores. The Director of Training will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of training programs throughout the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area with a concentration on food and beverage in Hilton''s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?
As a Food and Beverage Director of Training, you would be responsible for developing, coordinating, implementing and delivering all Food and Beverage-specific training initiatives in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area in Hilton''s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
  •  Review and assess performance needs in Food and Beverage and develop, update and make recommendations for training initiatives or other solutions
  • Track, input and maintain accurate training records in partnership with Human Resources
  • Ensure full compliance with Company training programs within Food and Beverage
  • Plan and conduct meetings with Food and Beverage Managers to track performance trends and prepare action plans and/or training initiatives, as needed
  • Ensure consistency of job skills training, the certification process and documentation
