Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Banquets, responsibilities include but are not limited to:       
  • Provide prompt, courteous and efficient food & beverage service in accordance with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts food & beverage standards
  • Work as part of a team to provide a consistently high standard of service in areas such as meeting set‑ups and all meal functions
  • Demonstrate professional and positive image to guests and colleagues at all times
  • Report any deficiencies in equipment or level of supplies to the Banquet Supervisors
  • Ensure the equipment and all work areas are maintained to hotel standard
  • Properly stock all convention equipment in appropriate areas
  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene Ensure a clean and safe working environment, and actively participate in health and safety initiatives
  • Adhere to all hotel environmental policies and initiatives
  • Carry out any other tasks as assigned

 

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year in a similar function in Food & Beverage, preferably Banquets or Conventions
  • Post Secondary education in Hotel/Food and Beverage Management
  • Self‑motivated, organized, reliable
  • Displays high initiative requiring minimal supervision
  • Physically fit to lift trays repeatedly, stand and walk for the duration of the shift 
Visa Requirements: Applicants must hold the proper work authorization to be legally eligible to work in Canada.
