Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Health Club Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:  

 

 

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service

  • Coordination and scheduling of guest activities within the hotel and resort

  • Creation and development of activity programming that is diverse and authentic to our region and brand standards

  • Scheduling activity leaders and guides

  • Lead or participate in hotel activities and programming

  • Publish daily / weekly / monthly hotel activity calendars

  • Communicate all hotel programming to guests and operational teams

  • Promote, organize and lead activities and special events

  • Work with the Director of Special Events to coordinate and lead hotel events and animation

  • Follow departmental policies and procedures

  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications:    

 

 

  • The successful candidate will be energetic, outgoing, organized, creative and personable
  • CPR and First Aid certification required
  • University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

 

 

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to): 

  • Frequent sitting throughout shift
  • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
  • Occasional bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling and walking
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

 

 

 

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
