Neighbor to the White House! Obtain great experience at this luxury boutique hotel in Washington, D.C. as their Asst Front Office Manager! You will learn to work with government people from around the world at the most classy luxury hotel in D.C! Looking for a strong candidate who can take charge, lead a team, and solve customer complaints!

Salary: $48,000/Year

Benefits: Benefits include free meals on shift and two weeks paid vacation per year. Fourteen days of accommodations are provided based on occupancy please inform the HR Manager about your arrival in advance. They do not provide airport pick up.

The first 90 days are a probationary period to acclimate to the Rooms operations which the trainee will acquire training in each position within the Rooms division. This position is not eligible for overtime hours over 40 hours. However the hours of this position are based on the needs of the business of the hotel and typically the J1 in this position may be required to train at 50 hours per week. Please note that this hotel is very conservative and deals with a lot of diplomats, so the candidate will need to be open-minded and very aware of the importance of service and catering the guests needs. The candidate must also be very diplomatic and respectful. There is a total of 20 employees that are supervised by the assistant FOM. This position has full responsibility over valet parking, concierge, PBX bell and the desk staffing. This person will report to the Front Office Manager and the Director of Operations. This position may work all shifts based on business. The phases of training are concurrently learned throughout the 18 months.

About you

Requirements: *English +4* Must have current Asst FD Mgr experience at luxury business hotel* Trainee will need to give examples of how they handled a guest complaints* Trainee will need to have a clear management style in regards to how you would motivate your team by coaching and training them on new ideas or suggestions* Outgoing personality*Must be able to solve problems and be quick on their feet with speaking to the high-end clientele, they will be responsible for their entire shift/staff, they will have to handle any emergencies or complaints.
