About the job
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Ensures all store are kept clean and organized
Ensure compliance of Receiving Policy and procedure
Ensure compliance for Inventory Policy and procedure
KEY OPERATIONAL ACCOUNTIBILIIES
1. STORES and RELATED PROCESS
Ensures safety and security of Stores at all times
Ensured all stores are kept tidy and organized with defined segregation Dry products to perishable, food to beverage
Follow principle of FIFO (First In First Out) for all requisitions from stores
Support Cost Controller to perform Spot checks of stores and explain discrepancies, if any
Ensure all products are labelled with expiry date
Monitor and report slow moving and non-moving items on a monthly basis
Ensures store requisition timings are followed by all departments
Assist Cost Controller to perform month end inventory on a monthly basis
2. RECEIVING
Ensures receiving is of products is formalized, documented
Monitor incoming material supplied by vendors and ensures its quality and quantity specifications as per purchase order
Coordinate with Hotel Chef to check on quality of food received by supplier
Ensure prices of each item received is in line with LPO and/or agreed prices with the vendor
3. INVENTORY SYSTEM
Ensures all products/items received are recorded in Inventory system
Check Inventory System to daily basis in order ensure all store requisitions to different departments are done in a timely manner
Report any discrepancies to the Cost Controller and chief Accountant
Ensure all merchandise received from vendors are in line with contracted prices. This must be done in coordination with Purchasing Coordinator
KEY INTERACTIONS
Internal: Hotel Finance Team, Front Office, Sales Team
External: Travel Agents
