ABOUT THE ROLE


We are currently looking for a passionate Events Manager, to join our Conference and Banqueting Department. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and welcoming team on a permanent basis, and help us to consistently deliver memorable moments and five star service to our guests and each other.


At The Landmark London, our purpose is to enrich the journeys of our people and our guests and as a Events Manager, your main duties will include:


·         Ensure that an effective contract handover has taken place with the Event Sales team.

·         To ensure that once the contract handover has taken place that the contracts  has been drawn up ensuring that all deposit scheduled are clearly stated and is correct in OPERA.

·         Once the contract has been produced all contracts are to be checked for any errors and sent to the client within 48 hours of the contract handover taking place. 

·         Ensuring that all contracts are received by their due date with the relevant deposit. Once the contract has been received Opera should be updated with the correct information.

·         To provide external caterers with verbal and written proposals. All proposals must be sent to the client within 24 hours of the caterers enquiry; follow up calls are to be made within 3 days of the proposal being sent.

·         To conduct Hotel and Banqueting show rounds whenever necessary to help sell the hotel for future events.

·         Proactively contact clients for the organisation of their events and through pre planning have event details ready for weekly issue which takes place every Tuesday at 4pm.


As a Events Manager, you will be required to work such hours as are necessary to fulfil your duties and in any event not less than 40 hours in each week.
