Job description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Night Manager to join our Front Office team.
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Night Manager, who has the ability to deliver 5* service at all times. It is essential to have a positive, ‘can do’ attitude and great attention to detail. We are looking for someone who works well in a team and has excellent communication skills.

The main responsibilities of this Night Manager position are:
• To ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Hotel during the night hours, adhering to all Company and Hotel policies.
• To ensure that all departments are adequately staffed as per rota, taking corrective action where necessary.
• To send a report via the Duty Managers log book to the Managing Director, General Manager and all key managers on the running of the hotel.
• To check the daily night audit proof list each night. To prepare the daily operations report for the General Manager.
• To supervise the Night Cleaning contract staff, cleaning all areas under their jurisdiction ensuring that all standards are met.

The ideal candidate for the Night Manager requires the following:
• Minimum of 2 years previous experience of staff supervision.
• Evidence of excellent customer service.
• Previous experience of Opera/Fidelio front office management systems
• Previous FOH management experience in 4 star deluxe/5 star property

As a Night Manager, you will be working with a dedicated and passionate Front Office team and will report directly to the Front Office Manager. You are expected to be passionate about your work and have the desire to progress your career in a leading five star hotel.
