Job description

As The Laslett’s Guest Service Agent, you will look after our guests every need and whim, creating memorable moments for our guests and managing the guest journey here at the hotel. Ensuring repeat business from our guests who want a home from home environment with attention to detail and a slick service. You’ll work in a modern, chic 51 bedroom converted Victorian building. where professional development is nurtured and great service is rewarded.

Requirements

• Current/ previous experience in a similar role within a busy hotel environment
• A willingness and positive attitude to work in a supportive and structured environment
• Excellent guest service skills with a background of exceeding and maintaining the guests’ expectations
• Cross training in Food and Beverage will be provided, to assist the operations as and when required
• Have a good command of the English language both written and spoken (an additional European language would be an advantage)
• Be well groomed and well presented
• Ensure effective communication within and between departments, previous Opera/ Micros preferred
• To actively achieve the Revenue sales and upsell targets
• Assist and report to Duty Manager to ensure all operational needs are being met
• To ensure the highest standard of guest care is maintained at all times
• To check daily arrivals and ensure rooms are allocated correctly and special instructions are taken into consideration
