Our Company, located within the Marina of Portomaso, is currently looking for an experienced and qualified GRILL COOK & PIZZAIOLO to work in one of its outlets, "MARINA TERRACE PIZZERIA & BRASSERIE", on a full time basis.

He/She must be very committed and reliable, work under strict supervision during evening and morning shifts. Clean, punctual, serious well-mannered, able to speak good English.

Requirements

DESIRED SKILLS:

- THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE A MINIMUM 2 YEAR EXPERIENCE IN A SIMILAR POSITION AND ALSO A MINIMUM 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE OVERSEAS.

- MUST BE COMPETENT, FAST, RELIABLE AND READY TO WORK IN A VERY BUSY ENVIRONMENT.

- MUST BE ABLE TO PREPARE ALL KIND OF BURGERS, SANDWICHES, SALADS, WRAPS AND HAVE EXPERIENCE IN PIZZA & BREAD DOUGH MAKING.

- THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL WORK UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF A PROFESSIONAL ITALIAN CHEF.

- ALL FOOD HANDLING AND HYGIENE RELATED CERTIFICATES ARE A MUST.

- CANDIDATES WITH PROPER REQUIREMENTS ONLY ARE KINDLY REQUESTED TO APPLY.

The Marina Restaurants

Early 2007, Marina Restaurants Ltd assumed the challenge of managing the stunning collection of bars and restaurants in the Portomaso marina area.

Nine years later the 'Mission' goes on.

Marina Restaurants offers the established Caffe' Portomaso, Sale e Pepe Tradizione Italiana, Marina Terrace Pizzeria & Brasserie, Zen Japanese Sushi Bar & Teppanyaki and the newly opened Zen Sushi to Go at Skyparks, Zen Sushi to Go Pama in Mosta and Zen Sushi to Go Pavi.

There is obviously more though at Portomaso and not only....

The Marina at Portomaso is the kind of place where you can simply decide where to eat as you are parking in the huge under­ground car park.You can have a pre - dinner drink in one place, eat in one of the restau­rants, have an after-dinner drink or coffee in another and then go for a nice walk along the marina.

Alex Ellul can boast over 35 years of ‘severe sweat’ in the cater­ing industry.

Managing director of Ma­rina Restaurants Ltd he is passionate about the revitalisation challenge he has taken on, but the road is long to say the least.
