Looking for a fabulous, experienced and passionate Learning & Development Manager to join our award winning People & Development Team.

• Someone to create, drive and deliver the strategy for Learning & Development across the business
• Someone to foster a culture of learning at work and encouraging staff to take charge of their own developing
• Someone who can confidently create and deliver values and skills-based training
• Someone who wants to help develop and retain our own talent internally by producing great Development Paths that are supported by Development Programmes at all levels
• Someone who enjoys working with Management Trainees, Intern and Apprentices
• Someone who is familiar with LMS and e-learning platforms
• Someone who is innovative and wants to bring new teachings and concepts to the business
• Someone who is able to recruit and oversee Learning & Development Specialists
• Someone who understands the importance of Compliance and gets it right every time!

How The Ned Happened

Soho House & Co. and New York’s Sydell Group joined forces to restore the beautiful Grade-I listed building in the heart of the City. The former Midland Bank is now home to 250 bedrooms, 10 restaurants, bars, a private members club, Ned’s Club Barber and Parlour, Ned’s Club Gym, two swimming pools and six dedicated event spaces.

About you

What should you bring:

• Proven track record, ideally in a similar sized operation
• Great attitude and a willingness to be flexible! Be prepared for the odd curveball or more
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt according to business needs
• Familiar with LMS and e-learning platforms
• Excellent communication skills
• Creativity and innovation
• Current knowledge of effective Learning & Development methods
  • Language required: English.

The Ned is a new opening from Soho House & Co and Sydell Group, located in the heart of The City. Originally a bank, the Grade- 1 listed building has been developed and restored to hold 252 hotel bedrooms, twelve restaurants and bars, a members club, a gym, Cowshed spa and two swimming pools, as well as six dedicated event spaces.
